real estate and relationships
I am a Colorado native and when I'm not out on the trails with my family, I'm all over metro Denver working with buyers and sellers in a profession I'm passionate about. I have been in real estate since 2004 and have thrived in all the ups and downs of the Denver real estate markets. In highly competitive markets, my buyers have been known get under contract the first time, and my sellers get top dollar.
Armed with a degree in journalism from The University of Kansas, and a strong background in telecom engineering and project management, I wear all the hats of a Realtor with skill. My tenacity ensures that no deadlines are missed, and my clients receive the best care and advisement.
Serving the Community
But I don't stop with real estate, and I believe that serving in the community is vital to creating a full and rewarding life. I am the co-chair of Sustainable Wheat Ridge where I am leading a group in the development of a long-term sustainability plan for the city of Wheat Ridge. My interest in environmental sustainability comes from my love of nature, but also from my desire to pass along a community rich in heritage and clean enough to be enjoyed for all future generations.
I also serve on the board of directors of Localworks, a non-profit that strives for the engagement of Wheat Ridge citizens. The organization advances Wheat Ridge as a vibrant community and brings businesses together with citizens through local events and grant opportunities. Volunteering is an important part of my life and my family has been enriched through the many activities that we do together in the community.
I am a wife, a daughter, a lover of wine, and the mother of a high-schooler. Amanda attends Lakewood High School and is active in track and field. She throws shot put, hammer, weight and discuss for Lakewood High School and also with USA Track and Field. We travel a lot in the summer while she competes, and Amanda successfully throws in national meets each year. Follow me on Facebook, and you'll get a peek into the thrilling life of a thrower.
Being a Realtor is an important job. There are many hats a good Realtor wears, and many long and stressful hours are spent guiding people through the largest purchase or sale you will ever make. I love the challenge, and embraces each opportunity as a chance to make my clients truly happy in the process. My business is based on referrals, and if we're lucky enough to work together, I hope that you will pass my name along to your friends and family.
